Visiting the Museum

The New Jersey State Museum is located at 205 West State Street in Trenton within walking distance of the State House. It is situated overlooking the Delaware River midway between New York and Philadelphia.

The Main Building and Planetariuam are currently closed for renovations. The Galleries at 225 West State Street (Department of State Building) and the Auditorium Galleries are open. See the notice at right for hours of operation.

THE FRIENDS MUSEUM SHOP
The Friends Museum Shop is located at the Welcome Center of the State House Annex. The Shop is open from 10am to 4pm Monday through Friday. During December all State employees receive a 10% discount on all purchases. Friends members always receive a 10% discount on all purchases.
