ABOUT THE PLANETARIUM
The New Jersey State Museum invites visitors to soar through the skies in its modern, spacious 150-seat Planetarium when it reopens. A state-of-the-art Minolta MS-10 instrument and hundreds of auxiliary devices for video projections, enable production of a wide range of realistic and exciting sky shows as well as virtual recreations of the solar system.
Backlit dioramas of the constellations, models of the solar system and the technology of space exploration, are featured in astronomy xhibits. The Planetarium Gallery offers exhibitions on extended view.
